Information we collect
You give us: your name, business name, email, phone, the amount and purpose of your request, monthly revenue and time in business; for a full application, business details (legal name, EIN, address, start date), the owner’s date of birth, your signature, and business bank statements. We do not collect Social Security numbers through this website.
Collected automatically: basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited, the page or campaign link that brought you to us). On some marketing pages we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site; form fields are masked and Clarity is not used on our application pages.
How we use it
- To review your request, prepare your application and, where a funding provider is considered for your deal, share it with that provider
- To contact you about your request by phone, email and, if you agreed, text message
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud
- To improve our website and service
Who we share it with
Veltcap funds some business funding requests directly and arranges others with third-party funding providers. Either way, the amount, rate and terms are set out in your written offer before you sign.
We do not sell your personal information. Your application information is shared only with the funding provider(s) considered for your deal, to review and fund your request, and with service providers who host our website, forms, email and text messaging, under obligations to keep it confidential. We may disclose information when required by law.
Calls, text messages and mobile information
If you tick the call/text consent box on one of our forms, we store the exact consent wording, the date and time, and the form you used. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Opt out at any time: reply STOP to any text, say “stop” or press 9 on an automated call, or contact us. How long we keep it
We keep application information for as long as needed to handle your request and any funding that follows, and as required by law. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need.
Security
Our website and forms use encrypted (HTTPS) connections and we limit who can access your information. No method of transmission is 100% secure. See security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of marketing messages at any time. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights; we will honor them as the law requires.
