Questions about cost

What affects the rate I get?

Mostly your monthly revenue and its consistency, time in business, existing debt and how it’s been paid, your industry and, for some products, credit. The structure matters too: longer terms and secured financing usually cost less per year.

What is the difference between a factor rate and an APR?

A factor rate is a multiplier on the amount funded: a factor of 1.25 on $100,000 means $125,000 repaid in total (illustration only). An APR is a yearly rate. A short-term advance with a modest factor rate can have a high APR. Your advisor shows total repayment next to the rate, so you see the real cost.

Are there fees?

Veltcap charges you no fees. Some products carry origination or other fees; every fee is listed on your written offer before you sign.

Will checking my rate affect my credit score?

No. Checking your options is a soft pull. A full credit check may be run only after you choose to move forward with an offer.
